Reduce Cortisol & Anxiety in 30 minutes? According to Science!

As your kids (and you) turn over a new leaf this fall, I wanted to share some groundbreaking results from a recent mindset study with teens that are EQUALLY applicable to you.

I know what you’re thinking…anytime I bring up mindsets people cringe.

“Isn’t that like, the Secret?”

“Wasn’t that power pose stuff debunked?”

I’m not talking about using your mind to manifest a million dollars and front row T-Swift tickets (although hey, go for it…)

These mindset results were double-blind, multi-replicated—the gold standard for science.

So what did they do?

Researchers took two groups of teens, a control group that did nothing and an intervention group that watched a 30 min educational video designed to teach two mindsets—

  1. Growth mindset

  2. Stress-is-enhancing mindset

That’s it.

Then they waited and performed various stress and academic tests on the students throughout the year.

The results were astonishing.

Those who watched the video:

  • Improved academic performance

  • Reduced cortisol levels

  • Improved cardiovascular response to stress

  • Improved psychological well-being

  • AND they even had less anxiety during the COVID lockdowns.

Researchers performed 6 different versions of this study, all with similar results.

So a simple shift in mindset RADICALLY transformed not only their mental interpretation of stress, but their physiological response and performance.

So I ask—what will you do next?

Are you going to think, “wow that’s cool” and then delete the email, open instagram and never think about it again?

Or are you ready to learn how to use the power of your mind, body and breath to radically transform your relationship to stress for good?

If so, sign up today for a free 30 minute assessment and see if what I offer is a good fit for your goals.

My name is Kevin and I want to help you live an intentional, resilient life.
